Our client, part of a multi-faceted Group of businesses turning over in excess of 500m is seeking to recruit an ACCA/ACA qualified Finance Manager, ideally with a Financial Services background to take on a pivotal role within their highly profitable Financial services business.

Based in East London in newly refurbished offices you would be working within a highly commercial environment with a friendly and professional team.
Our client is seeking to recruit a candidate who is eager to learn, energetic, has a good attention to detail and with an inquisitive mindset. The role would suit Someone who wants to really get involved in the business and grow with them, learning and taking on more and more responsibility from the FD.
Duties and Responsibities.
- To ensure that the Finance tasks, are completed to a high standard
- Work closley with the Financial Controller and Finance Director in establishing a best in class finance function
Key responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for monthly financial accounting
- Preparing month end pack which includes:
o Management Accounts
o Board Report
o Analysis of business performance
- Leading year end audit process
- Regulatory reporting including PSD and MLAR returns
- Production of daily bank covenant reporting
- Managing day to day treasury operations
- Preparation and submission of tax returns
- Ad-hoc project work to support business strategy
- Supervision of Accounts Assistant
Experience and qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant (actively studying at the final level) or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
- Financial Services experience (particularly lending company experience) desirable
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a finance role
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of an accounting software package
