Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pa

Role Requirements

· Ideally part/qualified ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience with a minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
Ability to complete a full set of accounts and company/owner-manager tax returns
Ability to prepare VAT returns for Companies and sole traders
Be highly efficient and organised
Possess strong communication skills
Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
Experience in using Xero, Quickbooks, DEXT and Taxcalc preferred
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Role Responsibilities

Managing your own portfolio of clients through the production of Accounts/Tax returns by carrying out the following key duties and tasks:
Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, charities and partnerships.
Preparation of VAT returns via xero accounting software
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
Training junior staff members
