Position Overview: Management Accountant

Job Responsibilities: As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the outsourcing team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly accounts for commercial, charity, and housing association clients.
Providing detailed commentary to clients
Oversight of less senior staff members responsible for data inputting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Managing accruals, prepayments, and depreciation processes.
Reviewing control accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Engaging in junior staff development through mentoring and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience:.

Professional qualification (ACCA/ AAT) preferred
Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally in a practice environment.
Strong knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to clients.

Skills and Attributes:

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
